Through October 23, Harris Teeter has a 20% off sale on 6 and 12-packs of domestic craft. Check your local circulation, as it doesn't seem to apply to every single HT, but it definitely applies in a bunch of them.

I just grabbed a sixer of Harvest Time for $8.00.

    Cheers!

The 201 Central has Torpedo on sale for $11.99, and then 20% off. Puts it at $9.60.

Slickdeals frontpagea Great deal. I haven't craved an IPA oh a while; otherwise, I'd jump on that or the $7.20 sixer of Sweetwater IPA.

Fortunately, it's not just NC HTs, I saw that at the Downtown Chs one this afternoon.

I did a bad job typing that on my phone lol. Let me try this again:

How is that upscale 201 central? Makes me curious.

Went to the new 201 Central and they too has 20% off craft beer...got 2 Olde Meck Copper 3 packs and a Sweetwater LowRYEder six pack for $22. The store is very nice, has a very nice home brew section and I liked that most all the beer was refrigerated...those are all beer cases.

I wasn't that impressed with their beer selection, but I guess I was expecting too much after they said they were "Charlotte's home for craft beer" and that they'd have over 680 types of beer. Honestly, their selection is not all that much better than that of the nice Harris-Teeters (Morrocroft, Cotswald, etc.). The homebrewing section is cool, but they're kits are much pricier than our local shops or online.

The wine selection might be their focus, I don't know.

They are much closer to a Harris-Teeter than a Total Wine, let alone some of our independent bottle shops. The prices are good, though.

    Here's a link to a map of the 201 stores. http://www.201central.com/our_store/store_layout.aspx

The fact that they differentiate Beers from Around the World, Beers and Ales, and Craft Beers as different sections (with Craft being by far the smallest) says something. Also, their wine layout looks a bit abnormal to me but what do I know.
