I cultured up some Conan yeast to brew my NEIPA and I have the jars in the fridge now. There were 4 ounces of dry hop that were added to the primary so now I have the pleasure of having A LOT of hop debri in the yeast. Thing is, is that it's all mixed up too much to truly gage how much yeast I have. Has anyone tried straining this somehow through some sort of strainer while washing and transferring to another jar? I don't intend on brewing anything else with this but an IPA or Pale Ale. So am I just spinning my wheels? Feeling more inclined to just forget about it and reuse as normal.

There are several youtube videos on yeast washing. I would go that route vs straining. No scientific reason, just seems easier on my little beer brewing buddies.

No idea on straining, I have washed yeast with good results, but in the end, usually I just use the saved grub/yeast mix and have food results
