Have you not been to The Beer Junction in West Seattle? By far the best....

Your review sounds like it's of the old location. Much has changed since then.

Regardless, both great places to buy beer for sure.

But it's all the way over there in West Seattle. Who has 20 minutes extra to spare? Sheesh.

My dream Seattle beer store configuration has Beer Junction, 99 Bottles, Bottleworks, and Chuck's occupying the four corners of an intersection, two blocks from my house. Each offers something a little different, but combined they would create an infinite vortex of beervana.

Nope. Too unbalanced. The Universe wouldn't be able to handle it.

Why 2 blocks? 3 too far, 1 too close?

Exactly. I don't want the traffic, noise, and parking hassles that come with 1 block, but I'm too lazy to walk 3.

On my 7th punch card at 99 Bottles....yeah I have dropped some serious cash over the years there. Have made many trips up from Olympia as their selection is hard to beat. Although I do love The Beer Junction when up that far north as their selection is also tops and their taplist is very hard to beat for a bottle shop...with the exception of Chuck's fantastic selection. I really don't care if a bottle shop allows drinking on the premises...I am there to buy bottles/growler fills and move on. Drinking while selecting bottles would only add to the overall price at the register where I would realize that I have bought way too much stuff not on my list :grimacing:.
