Has a "whale list" ever been considered on BA?

    For many, a large part of this hobby is to track down some of the more sought after/rare/super-high rated beers that exist.

    Personally (and I'm sure for many), I'd love a list that uses a tweaked version of the top beers algorithm, putting more weight on certain parameters that make a beer a "whale", possibly including:

    -More weight on raw rating, less weight on number of reviews
    -The dataset includes every beer on the site, including archived beers
    -Lower criteria for minimum number of reviews to be included on the list
    -Maybe take into consideration the "Want" to "Got" Ratio?


    Just a thought that I've had since I joined years ago.

    In my opinion, this would just reinforce all of the negative behaviors associated with people caring about how "rare" beer is.
