Drink local and stop worrying about it. (this) Problem solved.

I think there is some validity to that. I read somewhere (too lazy right now to search for it now) that many volatile hops compounds are affected by agitation just as much as time and temperature.

Dude Ive had Plinys from SoCal sent to Orlando, which means it will almost inevitably sit on a truck for a day and the route doesnt get much cooler. They were still good. As others have stated, you minimize the risk by sending on a Monday.

Living in Las Vegas I generally try to avoid shipping or receiving during the summer months. Although When i ship on mondays it honestly hasn't ever been an issue. If i do get a package sent to me i make sure I'm there to pick it up and i grab it pretty quick.

I did get a growler of Live Oak Hefe a month or so ago and i honestly think it was spoiled. It didnt smell or taste like anything i had read, review wise. Could have been the heat (most likely) or it could have gotten infected. It honestly smelled like horse piss. lol I was pretty pissed though because i had wanted to try that for a really long time. Maybe fresh from the brewery eventually.
