Has anyone tried beer soap?

    Which ones did you get? I'm not looking for a crazy awesome soap. Just enough to get me clean and have a nice smell that isn't the typical ones that you find at the store.

    My wife got me one of the 'Swag' Vanilla Porter soap as a gift. Good stuff and fun to receive as a present.

    Beer Soap IPA swag and the Dog Fish 90 minutes. I preferred the Dog Fish the IPA by Swag smelled nice but did not remind me of a beer. Both got the job done and were solid soaps.

    Very cool. I am marking down a few I am leaning towards getting first. That one is definitely on the list.

    Well as I mentioned I... didn't get them... it was a gift :wink:

    It was I believe Brown Bag Soap... and I think it was Sweetwater (Georgia)

    Guiness stout soap was interesting. Not much smell. Very good at not drying out the skin tho.

    I recently drank some Hop Hash from a BA trade which I thought was pretty good.

    My wife made me beer soap recently. Just didn't hold up well, too much oatmeal in it I guess. Hoping she would try again, as long it's not the beer in my fridge.

    We live in Utah so she used a weak pale ale from Shades of Pale Brewing. I would suggest she try Hop Nosh next time. Lets have some pine and citrus in the shower.

    Hop Nosh; now there's a beer I've been meaning to try for months and months and every time I am at a store that has it, I end up getting something else. Perhaps the next haul will include some. I do like IPA's that have a lot of pine flavor/aroma...

    Cigar City sells Hunahpu soap. I may or may not have licked the bar of soap before showering.

    I was at stone liberty station two years ago and got arrogant bastard soap. Smells wonderful but not quite like the beer. Hoppy and piny I guess. Problem is it's black and the suds stain the sink. The Boss voted no so I can't use the other bar I bought.
