Has anyone tried Devil's Canyon Barrel-Aged Full Boar?

    I've tried the regular Full Boar Scotch Ale in the past and enjoyed it. I saw the barrel-aged version in a store yesterday for $13 / bomber. That's more than I'm willing to gamble on for a brewery with a weak rep. Has anyone tried it? It hasn't been entered into the database, so OMG NEW TICK OPPORTUNITY if someone wants to take the plunge.

    Has anyone tried any other barrel-aged stuff from them?

    I got to taste it at the opening celebration of SF Beer Week. It's pretty freaking delicious. $13 seems totally reasonable for me, so long as their QC is solid. One of the better beers I had that night.

    Sounds like something I'd take a shot on, I just had the regular Full Boar and thought it was surprisingly good, easily their best beer.

    i love full boar! but ive noticed its much better on tap than from the bottle. im down to take that plunge, where did you see this guy at?

    went by my local spot. 5 cases all sold out. wtf?! didnt expect it to sell so fast. guess if devils canyon is gonna sell out anywhere itd be around here.

    found it for 10.99 in the city. really tempted on cracking it tonight if i didnt have to be up at 5 for work.
