So I finally finished off all my bottles of Dragons Milk from last year. I noticed this years say Bourbon Barrel Stout, instead of Ale Aged in Oak Barrels. Does anyone know if they changed how Dragons Milk is made or is this just a name change?
No change in the beer. The brewery realized that using the word 'bourbon' to describe the barrel will make the beer more marketable, thus they changed the label description.
Excited to try this beer - I got a 12oz bottle as a free 'sample' when the higher ups at my place of employment (wholesaler) decided not to carry New Holland. I learned about cellaring shortly after my aquisition and have decided to wait a while before enjoying... I got a bottle of Old Raspy in the same manner and downed it - couldn't believe the pleasure.
