I thought it had been gone since the 90s, but @eppCOS had a fresh one in 2020.

I remember when they did that, I agree, it’s very cool. Firestone Walker did a similar thing a little more recently I think.

I saw that American Light show up on a brewbound article but like all theirs couldn’t read without paying. If I see it I may give it a try.

I don’t believe so, haven’t seen it in quite some time. Probably available at the Sam Adams brewery on tap, other than that it’s sadly gone.

    Remastered Lager is (was?) solid.
I really liked Boston Ale but haven’t seen it in at least 5 years.
    Rebel Rouser IPA was decent
Not crazy about Latitude 48 IPA but the deconstructed Mosaic and Simcoe I had and those were very solid.

For a recent beer, they need to bring back the Festbier, that was very enjoyable.

In my area Boston Lager no longer has the “remastered” labeling.

Out of sheer curiosity, I checked the BBC website (what a concept) and it still refers to Sam Adams Boston Lager as "remastered."

Again, I think they're sticking with this new formulation for BL, the marketing is just toning down.

Yeah, the front page of their website is all about it being remastered, so they've stuck with it. All it was to me was dumbing down the taste a little to try to get more of the Busch Light crowd. It's still OK but not as good as the original, and it's way too expensive where I live.
