I picked up a beer called Hasen Hell (brewed by Hasen Bräu in Augsburg ) from a
bottle shop in Germany. It’s not listed on here, RB or Untapped, but they all show a
beer called Hasen Bräu Urhell/Fortuna Hell (from the same brewer) with a different colour label. It
was in the Weissbier section but the label says it’s Untergärig (bottom fermenting).
My question: Is it the same beer as the Ur/Fortuna Hell?
    Cheers.

Sorry about the strange layout, I pasted the thread in from Ratebeer via my phone.

Do you have a picture of the label? In which area did you pick up the bottle? The Hasen-Bräu website isn't of much help, as it just says it's currently under construction.
Hasen Bräu isn't the best beer from Augsburg, but I know their Urhell and their Oster-Festbier. I saw the Easter Märzen sitting on a shelf collecting dust only a few days ago. I also know Fortuna. Apparently, this used to be a former brewery in Augsburg and Hasen just revived it as their low-budget-brand.

Still working on the picture, the bottle came from a chain store called Hol'ab which has its HQ in Achim near Bremen and has stores dotted around HB, Hannover and Eastern Niedersachsen. The label is green writing on an off white background. ABV is 5% and it's described as a Vollbier. Cheers
