    Some people wax the caps on the bottles. Not something I have ever done, but should be easy to do.

    In terms of preventing oxygen infiltration, my guess would be that sealing methods would rank can>cap>cork, but I don't know if that is a proven fact. "Positive" oxidation is some component of the effects of aging, so it's a complicated issue. If you want some heavy chemistry analysis, check this out
