So are any of you picking these up or are you waiting till fall in hopes that your place still has them? I pulled the trigger on a Warlock the other day because I haven't tried it yet. I am going to at least wait till September to drink it though.

Is it 2014 warlock or 2015? I hear that Southern Tier is trying to corner the pumpkin flavored beer market for next year already!

I have seen Pumking and Warlock here at my local beer store. Other than those two, I haven't seen any others.

I've got that same question. I wonder if they're releasing them in batches and there will be some left for the actually pumpkin beer season.

I love a good pumpkin beer and will be brewing one myself here soon. I also had a pint of 2013 Warlock on tap this past weekend and it was fantastic. Will be on the hunt for Good Gourd this year as I have yet to try that bad boy!

@Baab200 its actually 2016 warlock. I hear 2015 is going to be a bad year for pumpkins.

I understand the marketing aspects, but have to agree that it is still annoying. Yes of course the "if you don't want it, don't buy it" aspect works, but the real issue is that when I finally DO want it (say, I don't know, the FALL) it is already gone and I am forced to buy winter beers. Fall beers simply aren't available in the fall...that is stupid. This goes for both private distributors AND local bars. Can hardly find a pumpkin or octoberfest on tap in October. Luckily, some of the bars in my area are smart and squander away some kegs of octoberfest and pumpkin ales to actually tap in the FALL. I am sorry, but the last thing I want when its 95 degrees out is heavier pumpkin ale, even if I do think it's delicious. I am just not in the mood for it, and apparently a lot of people aren't either. And no i don't really drink stouts in warmer weather either. It basically forces us to go out and buy up as much pumpkin as I can in July so I can enjoy it in the appropriate month. It boils down to the annoyance of consumerism and corporate competition that shoves everything down your throats, what's worse is that people give in. I think the great mass annoyance comes from the fact that the craft beer boom finally meant that brewers were starting to make beers that catered to the people who love good beer and said FU to the mass producers (Coors, etc.). Now it seems that is no longer a priority. But I guess to stay in business it is necessary.

I found one bottle of Pumking yesterday here in Dover and bought it. Finding a pumpkin beer in Germany the past three years is difficult. The only thing I saw in Germany was the Shock Top pumpkin seasonal. I know it is July but I am craving one and I plan on enjoying it tonight.

Saw a weekly circular for Giant Eagle grocery stores (chain based in Pittsburgh, with stores all over the Midwest), with the new Magic Hat Pumpkin seasonal "Wilhelm Scream" advertised for a sixer @ $8.99, starting tomorrow 7/31....I love pumpkin brews and will be picking this one up as soon as I see it, although I am not typically a Magic Hat fan....have been drinking some of my 2013 Pumpkin stash over the past week, as it has felt like September here in NE Ohio lately, with very cool temps for late July....I dig it!

Can't wait for Almanac Heirloom Pumpkin Barleywine, and I don't really like Barleywine or Pumpkin beer for that matter but that one really works!

Saw a couple of empty case boxes for Magic Hat's Wilhelm Scream by the door when I was leaving Applejack the other day in Wheat Ridge. I did not get a visual of the actual product, but I assume those boxes had to contain something!
