    Few things to add here:

    1) Windy Hill is a core beer for mikkeller now and should see it on shelves (hopefully cold cases) year round. $13/4pack

    2) it was mentioned already but I will back it up, brouwerij west IPAs and pales are pretty legit and most good liquor shops get a decent amount.

    3) when was that picture of orderville from? I seem to remember they changed the recipe up to bring it more in line with accumulated knowledge.

    4) barrel house juicy series of bombers are also out there. It's a rotating hop series, Andi thought the current iteration was decent.

    5) Last one, if time is the prohibitive factor and not cost for getting limited release cans, you can order mikkeller weekly releases from the webshop and they will ship. Or if you're close to a mikkeller bar (DTLA or Oakland) they usually get a decent amount of the SD cans.

One I've seen a few times now is Indie Brewing Co "Find that Juicy Double." It's hit several stores near me (Sherman Oaks area) and I've heard good things about how it tastes. Sadly, these cans usually go fast.

Novo Brazil (brewery based out of SD) is also easy to get in reputable liquor stores in OC and they're putting out solid hazy IPAs and DIPAs. Their Bossa Haze DIPA is very nice.

I wouldn't recommend those to ppl. While they might have finally brewed a good batch they aren't anywhere close to the other breweries that have been mentioned here.

Really? I've only had the Copacabana IPA and Bossa Haze DIPA, but I thought they were both pretty good.

I tried them and walked out with tasters still half full. It was a good thing that I wanted some tacos nearby otherwise that would have been quite the wasted trip down south.

I agree..the core beers are very forgettable. The hazy offerings were okay, but also on the meh side. Also, from what I read, they (Novo Brazil) stole the recipe, for Samba and Bossa Haze, from another brewery; it started out as a collab then they "revamped" the recipe and released it again with a sticker covering the collab breweries name on the can. I can't confirm whether the recipe was actually "stolen", as I don't know what happens to recipes after a collab, but I can confirm the sticker covering the other breweries' name on the can.

Once they're easily available and on shelves they won't be good anymore because rar haze whales.

But in all seriousness, good recommendations so far, MT Accumulated Knowledge is an easy one to pick up, I liked the can I tried from Brouwerij West, Mikkeller's weekly releases have been pretty good and you can get them shipped in CA, and lastly, Modern Times' special can releases are easy to get if you don't mind making the trip to SD. Hell, I'm sure you could find people who're willing to help you out with some if you ask around.

Indie distributes in LA and their limited releases get spread around to a few shops there. The releases so far have lasted at the brewery for several days so it's worth going at a convenient time and buying direct if you're in the area. They also distribute some of their core beers to bevmo which makes it down to OC, but not sure the juicy double made it down there.

That photo was from google when I googled it. Here is an untappd check-in from 20 hours ago:

Looks like maybe they stopped filtering it? But, also...

I just passed on a few bottles in the store, looking for Accumulated Knowledge. So is the consensus that Orderwille pretty fruit forward and low carbonation? More of a NEIPA style? Lately, that's what's really moving the needle for me. Picked up a 4 pack of the Brouwerij West Dig My Earth will try my hands on that.

Make sure you are looking at Trade Joe's for Accumulated Knowledge. They are the only stores that carry it.

No. They call it "dank" right on the bottle... it seems like maybe they are not filtering it any more to give the illusion of haze. Accumulate Knowledge is the only one that is an NE-style that got any real distrubution (only through Trader Joe's).

Yeah, I haven't had anything from them on draft, but the Bossa Haze first batch cans were definitely better than most of the hazy IPAs I've had from SD.

I do believe the first batch was the collab. I would say revisit them now, but as I said in my other post, I would never recommend them.

Windy Hill from Mikkeller is pretty easy to find at bottle shops around these parts, it isn't the absolute greatest haze ever but it is quite good. Something like ~12$-13$ a 4 pack too, which is actually decent.

When Windy Hill hit a local bottle shop in Torrance they were charging 23.99 a 4 pack!!
