    Just add a bit of soap into the mug before pouring your beer. That should help create a nice foamy head!!

    OK, in all seriousness - doesn't temperature of the beer have a lot to do with retention?

    Isn't this why beer from draft needs to come out of the tap at 38 degrees F?
