Hwaded to Beer'd and I thought I remembered some thread that talked about food options near there with pizza and pints but I couldn't find it. Any suggestions? Would also be happy with burges and pints. I live in Central CT, so would be headed back, so anything along 95 to 9 and North would be great. Thanks in advance, Cheers!

    Or

Malted Barley in Westerly - Mainly sandwiches, but great tap selection
Oyster Club - Sister restaurant of The Engine Room ... much better food (IMO) ... more pricey ... decent beer selection but nothing like Engine Room

Never been to Engine Room but I second Malted Barley in Westerly. No fuss food all encompassing pretzels: different flavors of just pretzels and also pretzel sandwiches like grilled cheese, caprese, and BLT. And Grey Sail is down the road if you want a second brewery taproom stop.

If opt to take rt 2 down then connect with 95, two of my personal faves are Innishmore pub in Colchester and Two Brothers pub in Salem - great good, great taps.

Sorry...didn't see this...Beer'd is open from 6 to 8 on Thursdays for Pint and Can sales. They don't do growlers. Still an awesome place. Had a pint and grabbed 4 - 4 packs of Hobbit Juice. Yum!

I'm thinking of heading down from MA on Saturday. Are the cans brewery only? I'm a little bummed by the late 1:00 PM open time.

Yes, brewery only. You can check their Facebook that morning to see what cans they might have.
