Hey all...headed to Cincy in a few weeks (July 7-10) for work. Well likely be consumed by work most of the time but can try to get out if there are any must hits.

Before I get the generic links to the Cincinnati page, I have already looked at that, but I much prefer people who are passionate enough about a specific place to hit up or beer to look for, instead of a generic rating on a web page. We are staying in West Chester, but I will have a car.

What bars are the best for craft beer?

Should I be able to find HeadHunter and White Rajah in Cincy? I already plan on making a trip to Jungle Jim's, but where else???

As always, thanks in advance for your input!

Head Hunter should be pretty easy to find, even the big chain grocery stores have it. White Rajah isn't too difficult to come by, haven't seen it at the big chains, but Jungle Jims should probably have it.

Check out 50 West Brewing Company, I've had several of their brews and they are all solid...quickly becoming some of my favorite local beers. Just a heads up though, they're only open Thursday thru Sunday. If you want some excellent food and a solid craft beer selection, Moerlein Lager House in downtown Cincy is a must.

Listermanns and 50west treated me well on my trip to Cinci. Cross the river if you have time and hit Party Source.

Thanks guys. Solid list of suggestions and some private messages. Have plenty to do. Unfortunately, leaving Wednesday evening so will have to save 50west for another trip. I am driving back to NC so I will hit party source on my way out of town.

For bars, check out Yard House Cincy (sure to have some Fat Heads stuff), Moerlein Lager House (surprisingly good house selections IMHO), The Lackman (had Arctic Panzer Wolf on tap when i was there during Memorial Day), and Bakersfield.

Madtree Brewery is one of my favorite local breweries here in Cincy, great beers and usually always a good food truck parked outside.

Are any of the above close to the Central Business District? I'll be in that area this Sunday through Wednesday.

Madtree is about ten minutes north on I-71 from downtown. Yardhouse, Moerlein Lager House, Lackmann, and Bakersfield are all downtown.

Rock Bottom is right downtown (Fountain Square). Doesn't always get a lot of love, but they can have some decent beers on tap.
