Forget everything mentioned above. Especially if mentioned by ehammond1 or VaTechHopHead.

Save your money and go to Milton's order the Reuben.

Worth it for a local who will fills the growler over and over again.
Not worth it for an out-of-towner who may only fill it once (a year?).

This is very true, but if one considers the growler expense as overhead and non-recoverable then the price per ounce drops to just above $0.26.

If I had a reuben right now I'd throw it on the ground, grind it into the carpet with my shoe while kissing my bicep and staring in your general direction.

Correct. I was giddy with Societe excitement. A take-home growler might not be the best idea for the OP.
    Reported. Those are fighting words.

Correct. From Colorado. But I'm driving out there, so getting a growler of beer home wont be an issue. I also collect growlers, so the idea of a SS one sounds pretty cool.

Aaaand it sounds like Milton's of O'Briens?

Anybody in north county filling blank growlers yet?
I'll be in Vista this weekend and I am anti branded growlers, I'll even go to On the Tracks if they fill blanks...

Anyone know if Culture offers an AHA discount? I was going to email to ask but I didn't see an email address on their site.

Just wanted to say thanks for the recommendations. Really like both Culture and Societe, along with Duet I enjoyed at O'Briens. Brought home a growler from both the above breweries, but REALLY REALLY loved The Pupil from Societe. Man, i wished i could get that beer out here.
