Wouldnt this be easier to post in the Georgia/Florida (I believe South?) forum?

    And, probably anything Cigar City.

Good call... But Texas does have a bunch of transplants that know/crave their hometown brews. Also I figured with the number of knowledgeable peeps on the SW board they'd want some goodies of their own...

    Cigar City, yes!!!

If you see Ode to Mercy by Wild Heaven, pick that up. It's a really great Brown Ale that doesn't get any distro or hype.

You bet! It is in 4-packs and can be found in most shops around Atlanta/Decatur. If you are in Decatur, the best bottle shop nearby is probably Ale Yeah. http://www.aleyeahbeer.com/

If you're going to Atlanta check out The Wrecking Bar. If the beers they have on tap are half as good as what I had at GABF then you're in for a treat. Out of all the breweries/brewpubs that I was able to try, they were the most solid all around. Complete gem of the GABF.

Again, I just hope their regular beers are as good as what they brought to GABF because sometimes there are inconsistencies btwn what breweries regularly serve and what they bring to competitions. I think they were also voted best brewpub of Atlanta for the last 2 years.

If you see any Terrapin Wake & Bake, buy as much as you can bring home. If you see the Cinnamon Roll version (dont know if its out yet) buy even more.

I'll echo this. Anything from Terrapin that I've received in trades has been great.

Moohoo is out (standard not the White chocolate) but Wake 'n' Bake hasn't hit shelves yet from what I've seen.

A couple of good bottle shops in Atlanta are Hop City and Green's. Hop City is a little high on some things, but they have a great selection.
