2 mules at 45 and Cypresswood is close as is Tap in Humble. Don't go to any bar within 3 miles of the airport unless getting stabbed or shot is on your itenirary.

    How long are you here?

I think that depends on if he gets stabbed or shot.

Probably the best decision of the trip.

Mojo's off of west lake houston is probably the closest to the airport, but hop scholar is a much stronger tap selection. Mojo's is a sports bar first, with a random tap selection. They had Funky Gold Mosaic last week.

Hit up Karbach brewery on Thursday. It's easy to get to, even on bus. They have good deals and awesome beers on tap. Not sure if they have anything special going on this week. I managed to get a few F.U.N Series; Portee d'or 011, but it's the rarest batch yet, so good luck getting some.

Thanks for everybody's input, I will be visiting again when I have more time (arrived at 8 a.m. departed at 8 p.m.)

Hay Merchant's service was pretty awful btw, is this normal because of the volume they do or did I just have a bad day?

NEED to hit up Karbach next time, could not find ANY Portee D'or anywhere, but got a great Spec's haul,
including lots of Real Ale Gose (sooo money)

In my experience, the service at HM can swing anywhere from awesome to awful, with no apparent rhyme or reason. Have been there when it's slammed and had perfect service, and have been there when it's slow and you can't place an order without going to the bar yourself.
