Posting this on behalf of a friend. He is heading up to Somerset, PA for the weekend to ski. He is a massive hop head and so I let him know he'd be painstakingly close to Head Hunter country. Does Head Hunter make it out of Pittsburgh and, if so, how far? He will be in the Somerset area but is willing to drive a little bit to lock it down.

    Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, I have not seen any craft beer really in sommerset. I think the closest place without driving to Pittsburgh would be The Head Keeper in Greensburgh 618 S Main St Greensburg, PA 15601,

Greensburgh is about 45min west from the seven springs area. They are only a bottle shop though, but may be able to tell you where to buy a case. If they do not have it your next option in Monroeville

There really isn't craft beer in Somerset proper.

Your options are Windber Hotel (Windber) and Tulune's Southside Saloon (Johnstown) to the north, or The Headkeeper (Greensburg) to the west, but I still don't think you're likely to see Fat Heads beers this far out of Pittsburgh.

Jean Bonnet Tavern in Bedford might be worth a look.

The Windber Hotel proudly serves Fat Head's beer, in fact we tracked them down and are probably the first (and only) account to the immediate east of Pittsburgh to offer their beers. It just so happens the Hotel will be hosting Fat Head's on 2/8 when they bring a firkin of their Headhunter IPA dry-hopped with citra hops at 5PM. We will also have 3-4 other Fat Head's beers on draft and usually always try to keep one on the handles at all times www.thewindberhotel.com
