According to lawsons facebook, a few locations will be getting bottles of shhhhh, their collab with treehouse. Im not sure on timing or where it will be available, but my guess is thursday at warren store and friday morning at hunger mountain. Or go to hill and grab a bottle of flora cherry. What day are you headed up there? A stop at treehouse might be worth it also.

Tree house seemed so out of the way when I napped it out. Not sure the old lady would be too happy with me!

Figured I'd piggy back on one of the numerous VT posts for some info. I'll be heading up from Boston on a Friday, I95 to I89, Montpelier to Waterbury to Stowe to Morrisville to Greensboro. Looking for the usual suspects anywhere that gets drops Thurs and Friday. I've charted out all the shops to hit but curious on the below:

    1. Beverage Baron in Barre gets Lawsons/Fiddlehead on Thursdays around 2(?). Would these stick around until Friday morning? Is this a good shop to stop at otherwise?
    2. Timing: it takes 3 hours to reach Waterbury from Boston. If I leave at 8am, I'd be in the area around 11am. For Friday deliveries it looks like it spans from Sunflower up to Tomlinson's in Morrisville. Does anyone know which direction the deliveries begin and roughly what time? My main worry is arriving too early and having to wait around.
    3. CBC: Are people still seeing HT stick around until Friday?
    4. Availability: other than the few places that sell cases, are there any other shops doing more than 1 4-pack pp? Tomlinson's?
    5. Breakfast: I'm staying at Topnotch (Stowe) and looking for a place Saturday morning. I've been to the Danish Pancake House and the Green Goddess Cafe. Any other go to spots?

I tried searching for the above and couldn't find answers, but apologize if I overlooked something.

For breakfast in Stowe I would hit McCarthy's, its cash only I think but super good food in a cool little Irish themed place. Its right in town by the movie theater.

Last time i was in stowe on a friday deliveries went out around 9am. Most spots are 1 4 pack per person and most sell out in a few hours. It was ski season though, so it was really busy up there. CBC might have some left on friday. There is a little deli in waterbury on the way to stowe that does 2-4 pack limit. They keep it back, so you have to ask for it and it sticks around a little longer sometimes.

Seems like Barre gets beer between 1 and 1:30. No way it lasts until the following day.

Thanks for the info guys. Have you ever checked out Beverage Barron? I may be up there early just as they open, so I might stop depending on timing. Do they have a good beer selection otherwise? I haven't seen them mentioned at all in the forums.

I'm most concerned with point 2 above on timing. If anyone knows where the first delivery hits, and roughly what time (9am as Evmo said ?) and which shop gets the last drop, that would be a huge help to me. I'd really just like to make my way up from Waterbury to Greensboro by 3ish and cobble together a case of HT at the same time while grabbing lunch someplace.

Beverage Baron is on Monday. They have a decent selection otherwise.

When I was there in early April, it seemed the deliveries started on the Waterbury end. The little deli attached to the gas station that is not on their website delivery list was the only 2 4 pack limit on the delivery trail up through Stowe.

Can I please have the name of the deli? I'm heading there this weekend and would love to score a few 4 packs! Or if someone knows a place where I can still get a few 4 packs Saturday afternoon from waterbury to Stowe that would be awesome!

    Thanks

Probably all gone anywhere from Waterbury to Stowe by 1 PM today. I do not know the name of the deli, but it is a gas station/deli combo on the main road from Waterbury going towards Stowe. Red building on the right side if going towards Stowe.

By the way, pick up some Fair Maiden (just bottled again), Pieces of Eight and some Second Fiddle if you can find it. Worth getting even if you don't have great luck with HT. Tribute is pretty good too.

Awesome, thanks. Second fiddle is on my list, before heady, but I thought it was even tougher to get. I'll be traveling with the family, inluding an 3 months old baby, so I won't be chasing beers too much. Finger crossed anyway!

Just a heads up for anyone headed to Morrisville, The Green Top Market is closed. They are still listed on the Alchemist "where to buy" page, but they posted their closing on Facebook recently, and Heady deliveries there were sporadic for the past couple of months.

I got it at the Citgo Station in Killington. Don't be afraid to check places that you might not think of. Tribute was in almost every convenience store.

Supposedly the wine store right above Black Back pub in Waterbury has it and it usually lasts according to another one of these threads.

Yeah, the Moretown General Store had Second Fiddle all Memorial Day weekend long. No limit was posted but I confined myself to a 4-pack/visit to be polite.
