I'll be heading back to MA towards the end of Jan and after living in AZ for the last five years I'm a little out of touch on what is available in the MA/RI area. Any insight as to what desirable stuff isn't distributed there would be appreciated so I can 1) bring my brother some good stuff and 2) figure out what people might be interested in before I start posting in the ISO/FT forum.

I was thinking along the lines of Anchorage, The Bruery, Crooked Stave, and local AZ stuff.

we get some of the bruery beers, maybe not the limited release ones though. seekabrew.com could help you to see the comparison between the two states

I agree with the comment above. Great website. Cliff notes there is no crooked stave, bell's, funkwerks, logsdon, deschutes, new Belgium, Odell or Ska in MA.

    This is true...
We do have Anchorage and The Bruery.
There are also a lot of things available here (and within a day's drive) that are not available in Arizona.
I'll say that you won't be lacking for good beers available here.

    You can compare things here:

Only thing I have found is just because something is distributed in a state doesn't mean it is everywhere. But there is no shortage of good brew and great breweries to visit.
