    Aloha,

Visiting in-laws in Northern VA and looking for suggestions on bars, breweries, beer stores, and growler stations? It will make the visit tolerable!

    Mahalo!

Mad Fox Brewing Company is located in Falls Church City and is an excellent brew pub. Beer is top notch and food is pretty good too.

Dominion Wine and Beer is also located in Falls Church city limits and is one of the better bottle shops in the area. It's not huge, but they have a great selection of local breweries (Port City is a person favorite). They also do growler and crowler fills.

Depending on your mobility, there are dozens of brewery options (and almost infinite amount of bars) within an hour or so drive. A great resource is dcbeer.com

Search the place database and you'll find plenty of places in Falls Church and Arlington. Falls Church is deceptively large when you factor in the traffic. If you want to avoid time in the car and assuming you're on the correct side of town, I recommend Mad Fox (great food and beer) and Dominion Wine & Beer (bottle and growler shop). These places are within walking distance of each other.

Highly recommend Mad Fox. Beers very good and the food is amazing!

Aslin is worth a drive. Check their beer list before going. Sometimes it can get rather short.
