Tomorrow the fiance and I will be headed to Ft. Myers, maybe Naples area coming from Venice. "Just taking a Saturday road trip to get out" (I want beer). I would love to find some GI Sofie and Matilda on the way. Not sure about her seeing me drive to Naples for 80-100$ of Beer. Naples TW shows them in stock, Ft. Myers doesn't. Just came up with the brilliant idea of hitting all ABC's on the way, might find something good. Does anyone know of a place I can find the beers I seek? Maybe direct me to some other good bottle shops I may not know about between here and there.
    Thanks guys!

There are no good "bottle shops" on your way. You pretty much have ABC's, TW Ft Myers, and TW Naples. The TW Naples is leaps and bounds above the Ft Myers one in terms of stock and service. Not sure why this is.

As for the ABC stores, the first two you will hit if you are stopping at all of them as you go down 41 are North Port and Port Charlotte. I was in both yesterday(I live in NP/work in PC), and neither of them had the beers you seek. The next ABC you will hit is North Fort Myers, right before the big bridge, and then one down south Fort Myers. Both have decent stock usually.

Lastly, a place you might miss, but should stop is Captains Liqour in Port Charlotte. It's on the right hand side of 41 near the Midway intersection.

    Have fun!

Go to the tw Naples. They will have the best selection, and have plenty of sofie and Matilda. Also, should have some mz. I was told by an employee that they were getting 11 cases, but they may have only received 2. Abc estero, by coconut point is you're next best bet. They also have sofie and Matilda, and always have fresh jai alai. Avoid tw fort Myers at all cost, worst store on the face of the planet.

If you think TW Ft. Myers is bad you should try the Sarasota one. Website is never even close to being accurate and forget finding any staff to help you. They just stalk you like they think you are shoving bottles into your pockets. I don't understand why I can only find Sofie and Matilda in Ft. Myers or Naples TW, not even listed on the website anywhere from north of Ft. Myers to Tampa. Any idea if Naples TW has 4 packs of Sofie or just the 750ml (765 maybe)?

OH! What about a good spot to stop for a late lunch and a good tap list, maybe some Saisons, around Ft. Myers or Naples?

Got my Matilda and Sofie! Even found a bottle of Smashed Blueberry for the fiance, made her happy! Ended up just hitting TW Naples. Also stopped at The Pub for lunch, wasn't bad, really neat place though. Then hit TAPS during their soft opening for a few drinks. Lol they had Founders Breakfast Stout on the beer menu so I ordered one, told the server I bet they don't have it though. Nice place, a little noisy for my preference, kickass bathrooms though. Really cool area, wish I was a little closer.

Be sure to go in whole foods. They have a bar inside that usually has decent taps!

Yeah We did. I was amazed. Even the bottle selection was good. LOF and all. Wish there was a bar in publix across the street from me.
