Heading to Halifax

    Looking for Halifax recommendations for beer bars, (already know stillwell) and bottle shops. My girlfriend is heading there to check out Dalhousie this weekend and she wants to check out some of what Halifax offers beer wise as well.

    Rockhead Wine and Beer Market I think it's called now? Former Premier Wines and Spirits..

    Rockbottom Brewery, if Nash is still brewing for them, it should be great.

    The Gahn House (?) took over the Hart & Thistles new spot, I heard good things, but have not experienced it.

    Rogues Roost, I'm not the biggest fan of, but it is a place to check out for sure. The beers may suit you and it's a stones throw away from Dal.

    Stop in at Propeller and Garrison. Propeller offers tours and you can buy beers that the NSLC may not stock.
