Well done, that's a helluva trip! I don't know if I'd be able to remember anything after a day like that, but did you have any personal favorites? Places you'd come back to or ones you'd skip next time? The question of where to go in LA comes up a lot and you did pretty much all of the breweries the community usually suggests, so would be very curious to hear your impressions.

    Cheers

My top favorites were HPB and Smog City - but Smog city though made my top list probably because I went there at the perfect time - they had Bourbon OE, Kumquat Saison, BA Goldie, etc. and bottles of Bourbon O.E. for sale on Sunday.

Places I could have skipped would be Monkish and Bottle Logic (and maybe Noble Aleworks too - especially if they didn't have Citra Showers on tap).

Phantom Carriage was unique and El Segundo had the best bartender/server (and such a cool location & best IPAs). Beachwood also had a nice venue with great food. These three would be on my 2nd tier list.

The Bruery (I visited last year) would also be among HPB and Smog City for me. I just love their beer and they had the cleanest restrooms among all the breweries I visited.

    Cheers!

Monkish has a firm grip on the bottom of the list for me.

If only they filled blank growlers and/or bottled Amarilla Gorilla... (still, that does remain excellent)
