I would suggest going to Town Hall before or after the game.

I would suggest Fulton's taproom before the game. They're about two blocks away from Target Field, & it's a regular stop for us before a game. There's also a Rock Bottom downtown that's 5-6 blocks from Target Field, & they frequently have interesting stuff on tap.

Other than that, there's the regular stuff: Town Hall, Republic, Indeed, etc. If you've lucky, Seviin might be out by then.

Oh, & if you have a chance, please pack a broken leg for Miguel when you come.

Bars - Town Hall, Republic (across the street from Town Hall), Happy Gnome in St. Paul

Taprooms - Fulton like maximum12 mentioned, also Indeed and Dangerous man right across the river in Minneapolis.

Stores - Four Firkens is probably the best spot in the west metro. If you go over to St. Paul, Ale Jail also has a great selection. Surly is an obvious purchase, Indeed, and Steel Toe (limited distribution, available at both stores mentioned).

If you are staying in Prior Lake, you will be pretty close to Blue Max. Go there.

I know everyone has their own opinions, but Fulton, IMO, makes such mediocre beer compared to other options in the area. I wouldn't waste my short amount of time on them. I also wouldn't bother with Rock Bottom. They are located all over the country. Go someplace unique to the Twin Cities; Indeed, Town Hall, etc. Again, just my $0.02.

Town Hall is fantastic and Republic is just across the street. But like others have said Dangerous Man is solid and I've heard decent things about Indeed. The good news is that Surly and many other solid beers are available even in downtown.

    Enjoy the game!

If you're going to be at Target Field then I would recommend you stop by Fulton's tap room

Given he's going to Target Field & Fulton's proximity, plus the fact that their beers are much better in the taproom than in the bottle, I'd heartily disagree. If you haven't had Ringer Pale Ale you're missing out!

The original poster is from Michigan - there are no Rock Bottoms there. Sure, four of RB's beers are available at each of their locations, but the last time I was there they a total of nine beers available.

    Go Tigers!

...and don't bother looking...when dc55110 speaks of liquor stores, the words may as well have been handed down from a mountain, engraved in stone tablets...

Sorry, hate to go off topic (going to do it anyways) but how are the taps at Devil's Advocate? They say they have 40 on the website, but don't list any of them anywhere.

I would definitely agree on either going to 7 corners (Republic, Townhall, throw in Acadia which has Old Blue Hair still on tap) or going to NE taprooms for Dangerous Man, Indeed, 612(?) although Haute Dish and Butcher and the Boar always have great tap lists

Thanks for the mention guys, I was about to come on and shamelessly self-promote HauteDish.

Come by for a beer (or several) before the game! Happy Hour is from 4-6pm and an adult Happy Meal(Burger/Beer combo) is only $10. Always love meeting BA's, especially from Michigan!

Looks like some great food...! With that said, you show no beers on your site...Being that your on here its obvious you will have some great beers...So im glad you posted as im one of those that determine where I go by the beer list as well..
