My wife and I are heading to Peek 'n Peak (Clymer, NY) this weekend from Cleveland.

BA "places" didn't show anything in terms of beverage stores in the nearby area. Does anyone know whether there is anything within 15 minutes of there that I can pick up a few six packs, bombers, etc? I am mostly looking for stuff that seekabrew says is available in New York that I can't get in Ohio:

    - Firestone Walker
    - Jacks Abbey
    - Maine
    - New England Brewing Company

I suppose I can also stop off in Pennsylvania, too, if there is nothing near the resort. Here's what I would be looking for in Pennsylvania:

    - Central waters
    - DuClaw
    - Maine
    - Port/lost abbey
    - Southampton
    - Voodoo

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers!

That's what I kind of expected. I will shop on the way. Thanks!

As suggested above you'll be in a wasteland. I grew up in Findley Lake and worked at the Peak. Best bets were mentioned but Voodoo, Lavery and Southern Tier are all worth visiting. Do yourself a favor and swing by the French Creek Tavern for some wings while at the Peak, as I'm craving their wings. Good luck!

I forgot to mention that within the 15 minute radius is rough. Clymer itself us dry and French Creek and Findley Lake are heavy BMC towns.

I ended up bringing a bunch of Cleveland beer to the resort for the weekend. They're pretty smart with where they allow "outside alcohol," and seeing as this was an anniversary weekend with the wife I didn't feel too compelled to break rules. I will say that ordering a draft from the bar, taking it to the patio, and making a pit stop back at the room for a refill certainly saved a few bucks. There was plenty of Southern Tier to be had at the main resort bar; the rest of it was all BMC.

We went to the French Creek Tavern on Saturday night and had a whole mess of yummy food including wings. They also had The whole array of Southern Tier bottles. Thanks for recommending!

Many a night was wasted in my younger days at the Tavern. Has a special place in my heart for what it is. Glad you enjoyed!
