Does anybody know what the Growler laws in Iowa are? Can I just bring any growler I have at home? Or is it like MN where you need the specific branded growler? Any other general advice on what to try or do while visiting.

Any growler as long as it has the federal alcohol warning label on it.

I was just there last weekend and filled up growlers from Town Hall and Three Floyds, so you are fine bringing pretty much any growler you have. They also had bottles of Sosus there for sale, with a 1 case limit for $96 ($8 a bottle). My advice to you is to buy a case. It's as good as it's ever tasted with this batch. Enjoying one right now actually. I'd also recommend mixing up a few of the different IPAs/Pale Ales. They have a recommendation board with the different names (Golden Sue, SueZee, etc.). Pretty fun.

I'm going to be passing close to this area on Saturday and may detour to go there, so I'm wondering if this brewery is jammed on Saturdays, probably late afternoon or evening when I can get there?

It's never been slammed on a normal weekend day when I've been there. If there's a city festival or beer release, it'll be slammed, but otherwise, comfortably busy.

I believe Sosus bottles are gone, but worth the trip nonetheless.

Thanks for the info. I have been loving what I have been able to get from Hudson and am really looking forward to getting to the tap room.

What's the square footage of the brewery?

    The brewery or the taproom?

    The taproom is fairly small

When they do decide to enter the Minnesota market I really hope they make the correct distribution choice.

Had a Millennium Falcon while driving through yesterday. Awesome beer and a nice atmosphere.

I think they already have a distributor in MN , just haven't sent any beer in yet. Can someone else with more knowledge add to this?

I'm just kind of curious - What is the correct distribution choice? I have no idea if there are the good, the bad, and the ugly out there... I do like to throw my cash to individuals/businesses who try to do right by the customer - so I'm all ears.

TG has signed with a distributor but unfortunately, still no brews are coming to MN. Why? Couldn't tell you. Supply and demand is my best guess which is a good thing for TG but bad for beer guys wanting their stuff to get here.
