I hear ya man. I think that is absurd. I guess we don't really know how much they made though. Who knows, maybe they really ramped up production this year for these super limited releases. Could we be seeing much more Assassin and KBBS as well?

Can I be selfish with you? I also had the plan of heading up Sunday. Maybe we are getting our panties in a bunch and everything will work out fine. But with people in line on a Thursday night buying cases I'm not going to hold my breath. Maybe that's the kind of customer they are looking for though, the ones who can just drop everything on a dime to be there to spend $400...

You all rock, thanks for the info... 25 bucks a bomber on NT sure isn't free is it. Well, I am unable to make the 2.5 hour trek today, maybe tomorrow, although who knows if anything will be left.

Also, I wish they would address these things. One of the first Tweets they sent out said they think it should last through Monday. Now it's all "get it while it lasts!!" Just let us know if it's going to make it through the weekend or not. A Facebook comment from 30 mins ago makes it seem like it might still be around Monday...

To be fair to the TG folks, they really have no idea if it will last until Monday or not. To them, ideally I'm sure it would, as that means they'll have more traffic to the taproom (which means increased draft/merch sales). Maybe they estimated that based on prior turnouts for taproom only releases (Sosus, etc), the figured they would last until Monday. But prior tap room only releases have also been a 1 case limit as far as I'm aware. With the increase to two cases (which honestly I don't understand, but it's not my business), and the fact that these are two very exclusive beers, they are probably realizing it is selling quicker than initially thought so to make it sooner than later if you want a shot at bottles.

Is it even gonna still be around Saturday, staring to get worried, maybe they should bump it down to a one case limit.

If any Twin Cities people are willing to spare a bottle of each, BM me. I'd just want 1 each. Thanks.

With these types of sales, why would TG even go through distribution at all? They can blow through case after case of $8-$25/bottle beer with people driving from hours away to pick it up right at their brewery.

I was just at the taproom and they said naughty was almost gone. Line is 20 deep.

Absolutely ridiculous. I know I sound like an entitled brat but why wouldn't they try to get these beers to as many people as possible. A two case limit. I guess us little guys that have to work and don't have unlimited funds don't matter.

Jesus....I don't even know what to say. It's hard to even comment without coming off sounding like I'm entitled/selfish, so I'll just shut up and say I'm more than disappointed and leave it at that. Ridiculous indeed.

Wow. 2 cases is a lot of fuggin' beer for average Joe.

How is David looking? Anyone there think that'll last a couple hours still?!

Seriously would a 4-6 bottle limit be do bad so us working stiffs who can't drop everything during the week and go drop $400+ get some?

Words cannot express what an emoticon can...:slight_frown:...sad drop of beer. I think I would have been more disappointed if I would have driven 3+ hours up there and been shut out, so maybe....

Maybe someone should change the title of this thread to..."I guess I'm not Heading to Toppling Goliath this weekend after all!"
