heading to WV for the holidays

Go to the Tap House in downtown Huntington, they have one of the best tap selections in the state. In terms of a store, check out Drug a Emporium beside the Barboursville mall. Pretty much everything that WV gets is there.

Also, I'll be at the Marshall game on Black Friday if you'd like to do an ip trade

 

Also in Ashland, KY is a place called Ashland Beverage Centre. They have 3-4 growler fill stations. Continental Liquors has several growler fill stations and mix 6 packs. In South Pointe, OH, they have a small hole in the wall place called Leo's. It gets some interesting things in every once in awhile. In Huntington, hit up Heritage Station. They have a place called Bottle & Wedge, a bottle shop, and The Tap House, which has 16 draft and bottle selection.

 

I'm in Southern WV right now visiting the in laws. Yeah, it's barren when it comes to booze. Up until a few years ago, liquor stores were state run and there were only a certain number allowed per area, I think based on population. There are still stores who don't sell beer at all. I went to one store in Oak Hill that didn't even sell alcohol branded sauces like Beam, Bud and JD.

I was hoping to try Bridge Brew Works in Fayetteville, but they don't have a taste room and only distribute kegs to certain restaurants in the area. Because of time constraints, I can't even make it anywhere that has it.

 

I ran over to Ashland before the Marshall game this morning, picked up BCBS, Dreadnaught and Alpha Klaus.

BCBS was moving fast, sounded like only 4 cases total were dropped off today.
