You can once again fill growlers at McNeill's since they moved the brewery back to the dungeon beneath the bar.

The moan and dove in amerest -- a few miles from 91 -- also amazing. Same dudes who run the truth in noho and set up the hobo in Cambridge.

So, between weather, traffic, and a late start, we didn't have as much time to make stops as I had hoped. All said, the Brewer's Weekend at Woodstock Inn was an awesome experience! Getting a little hands-on experience with a 7-bbl professional brewing operation; hanging out with the brewer and fellow beer geeks; and ending the brew day with an excellent dinner with delicious dishes created just for our group (crab bisque and beef tenderloin were among the highlights) paired with beers selected by the brewer both from the brewery and from others; it was all great! I highly recommend to any fellow homebrewers, especially those ready to make the jump to all-grain, or any beer lover who wants to learn more about the brewing process, and drink beer all weekend long while doing it!

We did stop at Whetstone for dinner on the way up. Nice comfortable modern atmosphere, really solid house brewed beers, some other really nice selections on tap, and delicious food, including the smoked steak chili which my wife says was the best she's ever had (splurge the extra 87-cents for the ale-cheese sauce to go on top).

On the way home, we took 89 south instead of heading back over the mountains to 91, and our only beer-related stop was at CBC Nashua. Really nice owners, great advice on what beers to bring (and not to bring) home, and a very nice selection of local beers considering what's available in New Hampshire. I really wish I picked up more than one bottle of Stoneface IPA... honestly, the best new IPA I've had in a few years!

Thanks again for all the tips! I'll have to hit up more of the suggested stops when I go again in a couple of years. Yes, the brewer's weekend was that great that I'd do it again!
