My tasting has Broo Doo a bit ahead as far as taste.
Founders kills it when price is a factor.

    Harvest 4 x 12 = 48oz = $10
    Broo Doo 1x 22 = 22 oz for $9

    Winner winner chicken dinner!

Broo Doo if I'm not being cheap! Lol

I'd put BrooDoo around a 9.5 and Harvest around a 9. With that being said, the price breakdown would have me choose Harvest Ale 4pks over BrooDoo bombers 9 out of 10 times.

Was thinking about this the other day too. I live 10 minutes from Floyd's and pick up Broo Doo at their take out up until the time I find Harvest Ale. For me, Harvest Ale blows away every other wet hope ale out there at any price.

For all you Surly guys lining up-- I've never had Wet, but based on Furious, I'm sure it's great too.

Broodoo wins this battle, great every year. WET however is the GOAT.

I've tried both only twice each. And both times was back to back. Prefer Broo Doo but man the founders is still delicious.

Someone needs to explain the buzz around Harvest to me. Did a wet hop tasting tonight and Harvest was easily the worst of the bunch. Broo Doo wasn't there tonight, but from previous experiences, it destroys Harvest.

It is a tasty beer, but not a top example of a wet hop imo. It's just limited and gets the typical founders hype. For the cost and higher abv, double trouble is a much better beer and priced much more correctly.

Newsflash: bombers are way more expensive than 4packs and 6packs...

Send me some of each and I'll let you know how I feel. :grinning:

I went thru 2 4 pks of We last year, IMO Harvest is vastly more flavorful, it's all about taste. Wet was about 18 bucks a 4 pk too from france 44. Never had Broo Doo. Founders hit a HR on this one.

Broo Doo in years past, this year I preferred the founders. Love them both though.
