Heads Up: Karma System Revamp!

See, I like the "Cheers effect." Went to an old haunt last night, after a long absence, and the long-time bartender was so happy to see me. Good feeling.

 

Once more into the breach, dear friends….

 

I wasn’t old enough to drink when the album was recorded but I was when the single was released the next year! I was definitely old enough to drink when he played in Boston the same year because, even though I know that I was at the show, I don’t remember anything about it other than the fact that it was at Nickerson Field even though everybody else says that it was in Allston at Harvard Stadium.

Not that anybody asked.

 

Whoa. I feel like this is some sort of reward or punishment based on my past behavior. I...I need a beer to process this.

I like the new levels, and the transparency that comes with them. Gives me a few new things to aim for.

Here's a question: What about photos? You have karma for adding beers and places, but I don't see anything for adding the photos that go along with each beer in your database.

To take the question a little further: Why can't I click on a link and see a list of all the photos I've added over the years? It's obviously a piece of information you keep track of, since every beer photo indicates who uploaded it, and my profile shows a running total of the photos I've added.

 

No Karma for adding Photos of beer or places. @Todd

 

He already said that’s part of the update. It’s coming later due to the fact he doesn’t want to overload the system with too many updates at once.

 

I saw that , did not see the specific mention of photos.

 

I was minutes away from PooBah. Now, I’m a regular schlubb again.

 

As the theme song says (if you've ever actually watched the show), "You wanna go where everybody knows your name."

Thus my point for a "good feeling."
