So I'm headed through New York state on a business trip which happens to end pretty close to VT. I was wondering if I head into the state on Saturday, will I be able to find any cans for sale at stores? I've checked the website, but they don't deliver on Saturday, so I was just trying to see if it sat around on shelf's anywhere. Thanks!
You should be able to find some in Stowe/Morrisville area, as most of those deliveries are on Friday. Check the site for specifics. I generally bat around .300 (found in 2 of 6 spots last time, 4 of 12 time before, 1 of 6 time before that--although guy let us buy a case). Someone else will need to help on Burlington/Winooski area (which is obv closer to NY), as I generally don't get up that way. Good luck
I bought a couple 4 packs at Waterbury Village Market last Friday and they had quite a bit of it. Pretty nice selection there too.
I've gotten cans at Craft Beer Cellar in Waterbury on Saturday. They have a one 4 pk a person limit, so perhaps it lasts longer (and discourages the people seeking to hoard it).
Back in late June I got a 4-pack from the state liquor store in Stowe on a Saturday afternoon. 1 4-pack limit PP though.
I have. But that doesn't answer whether its actually available more than 10 mins after the delivery. Does it stick around for the afternoon or go instantly?
The better site is headyspotter.com, which tells you which locations get HT on which days, and feeds peoples tweets in for real time feedback on availability.
Great site and very accurate info in my experience. The lines at the bigger places like Bev Warehouse and Hunger Mountain tend to cause sell outs in 30 mins or less. Definitely check smaller places that get Friday deliveries, probably your best bet.
