Let me know if this should be posted elsewhere. I am looking for someone in the Waterbury, VT area who would be able to help me out on my honeymoon road trip. I would like to do an in person trade/exchange of a case of fresh Heady Topper on Friday, September 13th and I know they always sell out of Wednesday's canning run on Thursday. Unfortunately, I cannot get there before Friday and would appreciate some local help acquiring Heady from that week. Or any information that would help me lockdown some Heady Topper from that week. Any tips are appreciated. If someone can personally help I will fully repay you and include some extras from the Midwest like Dark Lord and other speciality brews we can discuss. Please help us land a case of Heady to bring back to MIchigan!
Well I can't offer any help, but I will say that they don't always sell out on Thursdays. I showed up on a Saturday a few months ago and they were still selling cases, so Friday at 11am might be a possibility.
Maybe call / email the brewery and explain the situation. MAYBE they can and will help you out. I've never tried anything like this, so I can't guess what the chances of success are, but it's better than not trying at all.
This is kind of ridiculous. If your future wife wanted you to get Heady, she would allow you to route the trip to get to the brewery on Thursday morning. Good luck buddy.
