Been MIA from BA for quite some time. Just curious as to how easy it is to land heady topper. I’m in Chicago so decent distro but curious as to what kind of beers you guys think it would take. Preferably looking to get half a case at least so I’d be providing a box to the trader with return shipping paid in advance. Just don’t want to post something up in iso:ft and get crickets

I've gotten Heady for everything from Zombie Dust to Abyss. With your distro, you should have no problem going $4$ for any number of similar regional beers.
You should not need to send a pre-paid label either. Half a case is 12 beers? That's 1 large flat rate box. That's $18ish. That's a pretty fair price for shipping. Even if you had 1 nice bottle that you traded for it straight up, I still don't think it would be unreasonable for them to pay their own shipping in any way. Only threw in that I was willing to pay for shipping because I’d preferably like a full case. Sort of off topic but a flat rate box shipped via who? Thanks for the info though. Gonna post it up and see what I get
Forgive me if my information is a bit outdated but I thought back in the day(about 5 years ago when I was more active on the trade forum) it was a general no-no to ship through USPS. I could be mistaken
It’s a lot less of a no-no at this point. Many traders use them, I’ve never had an issue in probably 200 shipments. But I only use when it’s the cheapest. Close location and small boxes may be cheaper with FedEx/UPS. Use who you are comfortable with.
Also, I agree with posters above that you should be able to find an even $ deal with what you have available locally. Heady is not usually full case max per at the brewery though, could take 2 trips for someone.
