So, I've had the luck of landing a few cans of this in the past and enjoyed them quite well.. I recently landed a couple of cans [can't find a date on them, assuming they're somewhat fresh] and poured one in my pint glass tonight and see larger than what I recall amount of floaties...Dandruff in the title is seriously what it kind of reminds me of...or even a lightly stocked snow globe if that makes sense... I don't remember the same visual the last time I had a HT, but I could be wrong... Others experience the same? Seems to taste alright...

According to the picture on the can it will make hops explode from your head. I don't think any shampoo will fix that. Enjoy, and may hops explode from your head!

Bell's Pale Ale has a serious case of dandruff. Every time. Still tastes pretty good though.

No wonder they tell you to drink it straight from the can right?

Ideally, let those particles settle and "decant" the can into your beer glass. I know they say drink it out of the can, but what you think you taste with alcohol is 90% smell. I need a beer like that in a proper glass and unless its like a berliner-weiss, or another that recommends the yeast poured in it, I leave it out.

Best dandruff you'll ever taste. The worst dandruff has to be Golden Monkey. I think it takes ups a quarter of the bottle.

Oberon has some serious yeast cakes in them as well. Enough to wig me out sometimes.

That's what I always thought. Great beer but so ugly when you pour. That's why they want you to drink it from the can.

OP: Turn off the lights and keep drinking... :grinning:
