FWIW - my bud brought me back 2 4-packs from Waitsfield Wine this past Sunday mid-day. A place I've struck out at 4 times on Friday/Sat/Sun over the past 3 yrs on ski trips.

Be careful with the Healthy Living automated message - the "Heady is here, 1 case limit" message was up all day Wednesday and Thursday this week when apparently they had been sold out for quite a while. It's a nice feature, but worthless if it's not accurate. According to people at the store they do apparently get a second shipment on Friday now so may still be a viable option for weekend HT.

FYI: I grabbed a case at Healthy Living on Wednesday at 1:00 pm and it appeared there was still plenty left. I went back to Healthy Living at 6:00 pm to grab dinner after going to Hill Farmstead and the Heady was gone.

Hello everyone. New to post but long time beer lover. I have a sort of Hail Mary to toss out. I am on a mission to find a VT beer pen pal as I live in NC. I'm a huge HT, and Double Sunshine fan! Big hop head and unable to make the pilgrimage north as my wife and I recently had baby # 2. Is there anyone in VT or New England that could help me out? I'm originally from Maine and miss the best beer in the world out of VT. I have regular access to Pliny the Elder and obviously NC beers and will go to whatever lengths to make the arrangement beneficial to us both. Thank you so much for the help and advice!

    Harold

I will be in Rochester VT on July 2-5. Parade on the 4th, no beer excursions, and the 5th I head home. On the 3rd (Thursday) I plan to head to the Warren store in the AM for Lawson's. Looks like Heady is delivered in Warren to 2-3 locations on Tuesday. Any chance it will still be around? Not looking for a case. Two four packs would be ideal. Wondering if those stores in Warren have a four pack limit, to improve my odds.

If they don't have Heady there hit the stores in Waitsfield, which is right up the street, last time I was up, which was the Lawson's market/HF anniversary/Alchemist truck sale, stores in Waitsfield had Heady on Saturday morning...

Does anyone know what time Waitsfield Village Grocery gets its delivery on Tuesdays?

What time does Warren Store get Lawsons on Thursdays ? After leaving Warren Store best place to grab a case of Heady on the way to HF ? Again on Thursday... Sounds like the nearest place that sells cases is an hour away from Warren ?

Ok question for yall. Heading up Thursday for a camping/fishing trip and planned on stopping at Warren Store at roughly 10am (estimated arrival time). However, I see that it is quite out of the way from my direction standpoint. Instead of taking i-91 I would have to do the backroads through upstate NY and VT and that would add at least an hour and a half or more time to my trip. I want to be in Waterbury by 12pm to catch the USA-Germany game at a bar. Where else, besides the Farmer's Market, will Lawsons be available? Hunger Mountain Co-op?

Also, since I'll be driving through Mass, any must hit stores on the way up/back home?

    Thanks

There is no official set time for the Warren Store delivery. Usually around 10, but this past week it was closer to 9. For Heady, Beverage Warehouse in Winooski is the only place I am aware of that gets deliveries on Thursdays AND sells cases. They release 1/2 whenever it arrives, and the other 1/2 at 5:30pm. There has been lines recently for the first drop. Because of that and not knowing exactly when it will happen I'd recommend shooting for the 5:30 drop. You may be able to piece together a case by stopping at a few stores between Warren and HF, rather than driving to Winooski which is totally out of the way.

Only places Lawson's bottles are available:
Warren Store (Warren, VT) - Thursday delivery, limit 4/pp
Beverage Warehouse (Winooski, VT) - Friday afternoon (no set time, they post to FB when it arrives), limit 1/pp
Hunger Mountain Co-op (Montpelier, VT) - Friday 3pm, limit 1/pp <- This also coincides with there Heady delivery.
Waitsfield Farmer's Market (Waitsfield, VT) - Saturday 9am-1pm, tickets get handed out starting at 8am.
Remaining dates this season: July 5, Aug 23, Sept 20, Oct 11.

Remember when it was show up to the Warren and just get it on Thursday am. Casually head to the Cannery , hang out, have a sample or 3 and walk out with as much Heady as you want and head to fill farm after to grab whatever.

I miss Cannery trips on Saturday and not worrying.

    Fast forward to today....

I've been to the cannery twice and both times -- once three years ago, once last year -- I just walked in and walked out. And I remember sitting at a bar in Burlington ordering back to back HT because there was a row of them in the cooler behind the bar. I feel like this doesn't happen often anymore.

    Thanks!

Anyone know if the bars in Waterbury (Prohibition Pig, The Reservior, etc.) have been showing World Cup games? I will be in Waterbury by 11:30ish, and want to watch the game at 12 before I head over to the camp site.

No TV at Pro Pig, but I'd bet Res has the games on. The Three Penny guys are huge into Soccer so they'll most def have them on in Montpelier. Best burger in the area and a pretty cool party for US Soccer games with TV volume up.
