Heady Topper @ Round Barn Farm Wedding?

    Sometimes liquor is included as part of a package. At our wedding venue, they had different levels of open bar, each including different varieties of liquor. That doesn't mean it happens in this case though.

    Well thanks iwantmorehops for giving me the actual answer I was looking for. Didn't think my little question would get these kinds of responses but once I get out of jail and stop being a D-Bag I'll be sure to post on my experience at the venue! lol I have had HT before so I wouldn't bother throwing in money for a road soda especially since it could end up with someone in trouble. Will be bringing some Tree House up to share with others after the reception the next day so hopefully I'll find someone to trade with.

    Yeah, I saw a la carte and thought you meant selecting individual liquors/beers/wines. I'm having a bad reading comprehension day, so I'm just going to stop talking.

    I do not know about Heady, but that venue is absolutely beautiful.

    If you want it that bad, leave early and drive up to Stowe. Stowe accounts get their deliveries on Friday.

    Have a fun time while you are here in Waitsfield. I highly recommend you walk up the back field behind the barn as far as you can for one of the best views in the Northeast.

    I am here plenty but more of an observer. Might go back to that more lol. Thanks for the suggestions though from everyone and sounds like it will be a great wedding venue and beer menu.

    Was at a wedding last July at the Round Barn and yes the Round Barn is an authorized Heady dealer.

    They open the can...no taking any home.

    You are within striking distance of Heady outlets. Last year we attended a wedding on a Thursday (July 4th week...so a holiday week), so we'd showed up on Wednesday and still had to scrounge to come home with 2 4 packs. But the beer selection is top notch, even without HT.

    Mad Taco & Pro Pig are your friends.

    Beautiful area, round barn was great.

    The bride & her dad were big beer fans and had acquired 4-5 cases for the reception...open bar of heady topper. Yes you heard that right.

    If you put in just a little effort you will leave this area with some Heady Topper and also have a wonderful time in a beautiful part of Vermont...

    I predict 2 things

    1. That's not going to last long
    2. Someone (probably a female) isn't going to realize it's 8% alcohol and is going to get sloppy drunk on it.

    Definitely check their website or Headyspotter.com. You should be able to at least grab a few 4 packs for yourself.

    Well I have not heard it's open bar or that there will in fact be Heady there but man am I hoping for an open bar with Heady!

    Sorry didn't meant to mislead

    The wedding I attended last year was open bar with HT. Bride had procured 4-5 cases of it separately (and with difficulty) of the round barn, but they served it. BRound barn sold HT at the front desk and opened every can when they gave it to you.

    In a 150+ person wedding there was maybe a dozen of us downing heady's...
