Wish they would've started this earlier because I would've been able to get some yesterday.

Should pretty much end the bootlegging to bars/restaurants in Boston.

Then there's my coworker (lives in Chelmsford) who says a two case limit is pretty much not worth the trip up there. Then again, he's never actually been up there before himself - I muled him two cases last month. I was hoping he'd return the favor later in the summer

(No, he doesn't trade; he can go through a lot of Heady easily by bringing it to get-togethers, giving them away to relatives/friends.)

Well it seems like there's his issue. Use the "more for me" method and don't share it. :stuck_out_tongue:

I'll support whatever the Kimmich's do, but me personally this is a great move.

It's just like their upcoming growler fills that will only be in their stainless growlers, they really embrace the local community. They love to share their brew with everyone but are loyal to those that have supported them right from the start.

Two cases is forty-eight beers, right?

    Sounds like enough.

Yeah it's great for the locals, but as a guy who drives up to get/mule 5-6 cases for myself, ~8 other VA beer geeks and the occasional trade, the limit is somewhat of a pain in the ass. Saw it coming though. From the brewery's perspective, it's probably the right call.

Full disclosure: of the usual 5-6 cases, I keep 8-12 cans. Muled 6 or 7 times.

It's been a two case limit since early Monday. Don't think it would have been that big a difference, given that it was 3/pp Monday AM.

You may be right. Who knows. I was excited to be able to go to the cannery and try it for the first time. Unfortunately I had to settle for having it at the Prohibition Pig, which had the best taplist I've ever seen

Good - to me this is totally reasonable (and still pretty generous.)
