Heist always has crowlers available. It is best to call the brewery the day you plan on being there unless you follow their social media and plan on being there for a specific release.

They posted on Jan 17th that crowlers were not currently available and that they would post an update when they were again. I haven't seen any updates to that yet, but I will defer to locals to be sure. They definitely weren't doing them a couple of weeks ago when I was there.

They were doing crowlers on When I was there on Wed. Everything except Bee Fruitful and Not from Concentrate.

My sister in law was there last week, she picked up a few crowlers for home but they were not offering them on a couple of beers (Not From Concentrate v10 was one not offered in crowlers when she visited)

Do they keep their taplist up to date on their website these days? I remember looking before stopping by sometime in the middle-ish of last year and the online list was not accurate.

It sounds like they're back to doing crowlers in general, but not doing them of the IPA's. Probably having enough trouble keeping them on as is.

FWIW, dropped by Saturday and no crowlers of IPA's. I do think this will change soon with the massive brewing capacity changes they are making.

As far as I know, they do crowlers with the following exceptions: beers they having canning runs don't go to crowlers because, well, they can them and the rest is for on site. In addition NFC v10 - which was going to be a canned release of Citraquench'l - was a one-off exception that they sold crowlers on release day only.

Although I think they did have a random issue with the crowler process - did they run out of crowlers to fill maybe?

I think it was more them opening the new space and wanting to make sure they have IPA's at both locations

My parents will be in Charlotte next thursday/friday, will they be able to get crowlers of some of their IPAs?

Based on my experience from this past Friday, I'd say no. I was not allowed a crowler of either of the IPAs they had on tap.

That is a huge bummer. Just IPAs? Are they behind on production?

Yeah it is quite the bummer. Yeah just ipas that I was made aware of, but I'm sure they limit other stuff too. I was told as a very blanket statement that they "don't fill crowlers of their ipas to prevent people from buying multiple" and presumably zapping their supply. But I know folks have gotten growlers of their ipas in the past (of way more "rare" stuff than I was after on Friday) so not real sure what to tell you. Seems their policies are haphazardly applied based on unknown factors.
