Just grabbed my four at Bevmo in midtown Sacramento. They had a bunch.

 

Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa.... 13.49!!!!

 

BevMo in east bay (NorCal) has em' (at San Ramon, CA). I got a bottle and my buddy got a bottle so go fight over the rest of their one case they got. The one bottle per person limit serves us all well. While it's annoying if it wasn't for the limit there wouldn't have been any there by the time we got there.

 

BevMo Walnut Creek and Pleasanton got 18 bottles on Wed (1 per), San Bruno maybe next week.

 

The BevMo in Antioch / Brentwood had them. Didnt say anything about limit, 5 on the shelf

 

Bevmo Sunnyvale, limit one (per day, said the cashier). I asked if a fake mustache would work (I was actually just going to check for everybody, but since they were there I got one. They do something pretty cool there - put an empty box on the shelf to alert you it is behind the register.

Sounds like "corporate" is asking all the stores, or at least all in a given region, to have the same bottle limit policies. It is about time...

 

Bevmo sacramento midtown had 6 left when I got there.. 2 now. No limit. Probably kick myself for not grabbing the other 2 but feel like a d*** clearing anything out.

 

Bevmo in Murrieta and Temecula both had them in stock. Limit 1 @ $15.99

 

Vista Wine & Spirits has a bunch for like, $18..

 

Not sure which Costco this was but all you have to do is call your local and give them that item number. They'll tell you if they have it and which other locations have it.

 

I wasn't a huge fan of this. I honestly can't remember if I had tried it before either at Barrelworks or the Firestone Invitational or something but I figured it would be right up my alley. So far, my least favorite of the Vintage series.

 

I liked it when I had it on draft at BW, but it seemed to be more harsh in the bottle.

 

Yeah. It did seem rather harsh.

 

What I had on tap at BW had almost a "liquid butterscotch" thing going for it, whereas what I had on bottle matched a description I've seen here or elsewhere - a slightly less bitter, less complex version of Sucaba (and not in a good way, IMO). Now, when I had that at BW, I had already tasted 3 or 4 sours, so I wonder if that had altered my palate enough that the experience was difference. Guess I have to grab a RR or 2 to simulate the experience. LOL

 

That's entirely possible.

 

Brandywine Liquor down in South SD still has some available.
