    Depending on how accurate your measuring is for the amount of liquid that you ended up with in the primary, you very well could be at your final gravity. If your beer is only 4.5 gallons (just as an example), the SG reading will read higher than expected because the smaller amount of liquid will be more dense. So take a look as best as you can to see if you have exactly 5 gallons per your recipe.
