some people sell the beer but most want something they can't get locally in return.
trading is very expensive (packing materials, shipping costs) so I personally just get what I can locally and look for what I can't get when traveling or having family/friends (is that framily?) pick me up something when they go away.

plenty in Nassau County - East Meadow, Bellmore, and Garden City Park for sure.
if you're near Blue Point check Bellport Beer or Shoreline they may still have some.

Dave is a great guy, I met him a few times at LI beer events.
You may have to travel a bit west for "blue cross blue shield".

welcome! always happy to see someone just getting into craft beer. If you can't find bcbs send me a beer mail. I got few and I would be more than happy to help you build up some trade rep.

Welcome to the site. When I first go into craft beer, the first year was by far the most exciting because so many of these flavors were brand new and full of mystery and intrigue, and it was rare that two different beers tasted the same. Cheers!

Welcome to the site and I will say that I'm a tad bit jealous that you scored a 4 pack of KBS. Could only get 2 bottles this year. BTW, great selection and you might want to let that World Wide Stout age a bit.

Drink those Flower Powers ASAP- 1) because they're awesome 2) they fall off very quickly- they are best consumed fresh when the hop flavor is at it's brightest.

I've noticed Flower Power falls off quicker than a lot of other IPAs, for whatever reason. It's probably heavily dry-hopped, which could explain it.

When the mod moved this thread I was locked out of posting to it because I hadn't been here in 30 days.

I was on a tear in those 30 days....buying all sorts of highly recommended beers. It got to the point where I felt like I was collecting rather than enjoying. So I just stopped buying and spent the last 3 weeks drinking everything aside from a couple of things I'm cellaring.

Bellport Dave also hooked me up with a free ticket to a local cask festival!

I just finished my last beer tonight with dinner so I plan on hitting up Dave's store to try some Sierra Nevada Hoptimums.
