    So I just wanted to post a little update in the 6 months since I joined/posted.

    Its been an adventure (and expensive!) so far getting into the craft beer scene. The learning curve isn't too bad - I know which hops I prefer the most, different styles like East Coast IPAs vs West Coast, Wet Hops, SMaSH, etc etc.

    I have been frequently visiting the local beer stores and know the owners/employees on a first name basis. There have been random times when I been at the store and they break out a heady or KBS just to share.

    As far as my initial wishlist...I have found the Founders stuff is hard to get now. I've gotten to try the BCBS stuff and had 2 heady's. I'm trying to plan a trip to VT to see if I can score a case.

    Anyways, I've gotten up to 90 beers that I have reviewed/scored. I pulled off my first trade a couple weeks ago and got to try something not available here in NY.

    Thank you everyone for your help. I can't wait to break out the goodies to share on Thanksgiving.

    Glad to see you've done and learned so much in such a relative short time.

    This forum really helped me get to try so many beers that I never had a chance to try even a year ago. I didn't know craft beer went so deep and so many people were so passionate about it.

    I wish you continued success on trying new beers!
