HI! I've used the ratings on BA for years to help me decide my growler fills and have finally signed up so I can start contributing. I'm fortunate to live in the Pacific Northwest where some really great beers are brewed. One of the beers that I really enjoy is Boneyard Hop Venom. When I heard they were going to stop selling to anyone who fills growlers I decided to just get a kegerator so I could buy a keg and well, here I am. I picked up a Danby Chill & Tap from Costco and then added a fan to keep the beer tower cold. Ordered a 1/2bbl of Boneyard Hop Venom and just picked it up today. This was my first pour from this setup so it was slightly short due to fear of overflow but I'm now 3 beers in and have it down. This is just the first of many great beers that me and my friends will enjoy from the tap in my house. Thanks for all the input all the people on this site have posted!

You shouldn't have said that, that's usually the first step before something goes horribly wrong! Congrats on the Danby and on the research you've obviously done that led you to the need for a tower cooler.

Congrats! I'm in the same boat... long time reader, rare poster... and have my kegerator sitting in wait for the construction to finish up on my bar. I'll be excited to officially tap that first keg and start enjoying!

It took you three pours to get it right? I nailed it on my second. But I ended up doing six, just to be sure :grinning:
