Hello from Ephrata WA

    Hi I'm John and retired a year and a half ago. For years I used Beer Advocate info for my purchases. But I never had time to join and get started to review beers. My retirement has been filled with doing things I've wanted to do my whole life and never had time. Yesterday I realized I was envious of people who had time to review on Beer Advocate and now I have time to do this myself! So I signed up. This was yesterdays "If i hadn't retired I wouldn't be doing this" moment.

    I just retired myself. I used to get to Ephrata once in a while for business, but not anymore. I often found it a challenge to get anything differnet in town. Hope that's changed...

    Oh that's great! Thanks for your post. No, there's no decent bottled beer source here in Ephrata. I end up getting my beer in honey spots if I'm in Wenatchee, Spokane, Ellensburg or Spokane etc. I just load up with provisions.

    HI!! THANKS! Love the Hamm's beer bear! I grew up in Chicago where we saw plenty of "From the Land of Sky Blue Waters" commercials with that bear!

    Oh thanks Matt! I was in Spokane a few days ago at Indaba Coffee and I asked them for good beer places and they mentioned Whistle Punk. I will go for sure!
