If they made a brett version, would it be Hello Sourpuss?

Not necessarily. A very common misconception is that all Brett beers are sour.

No way in hell. Beer with established kids' characters would not fly here at all. PR disaster. It might even be against TTB... and it definitely is against the ABC code in California (see Jewbelation Sweet 16)

Just happened to stumble upon it in a supermarket yesterday in Wuxi, China and I actually bought a can of Peach flavor for my girlfriend for around $1.50 USD (9 RMB), which is kinda expensive. Labels are pretty cool but the beer is less than stellar and the pricing for it is probably based solely on the brand.

Had a sip of it and it sort of tastes like a Bud-Light mixed with peach candies that you would find in Asian supermarkets. It is overly sweet so I wouldn't recommend trying it (unless it's just for novelty's sake). Not the most appealing to American taste buds but probably appeals to those throughout Asia who may find beer a bit bitter.

I'm going to call bullshit on myself for this post... I was just googling around and there already IS a Hello Kitty wine on the market in the US. I actually remember seeing it in Texas at one of our larger wine stores after my wife was drawn to it (ugh). That said, I still think the design used for these cans and the fun flavors mean that it won't be distributed (as it appeals to minors, IMHO), but at least in Texas... Hello Kitty WINE is perfectly alright.

I hope they bring Hello Kitty beer here. I have to ask how many of you haters has a girlfriend who won't try beer? Even if you don't want to try it yourself, it could be the thing that finally gets your girlfriend to try beer. Hello Kitty has been around for a long time, it's not just a kids thing anymore.

Wondering if that "cat piss" hop profile that get mentioned sometimes would be a good thing or a bad thing for this beer.

Although I do not think I will try any of these beers (because I am not a fan of fruit beers,) I do have to applaud the company and the way they have marketed Hello Kitty. She is on pretty much anything you can think of (Disney does not come close.) I'm surprised that this was not done before
