Hi, Max. There's nothing wrong with extract brewing - I did it for 15+ years before I quit 10 years ago. I may still get back into it be because I have three recipes that I'd still like to brew. I never had any luck with kit brewing so my process turned to finding clone recipes of hyped beers that aren't available in my market. (Most hyped beers have a recipe on line somewhere.) I think purchasing the required ingredients at your local homebrew store or at online sites will be fresher stuff for you to use. Extract beers can turn out very good beers, but I recognize the benefits of brewing all-grain. Do join in with us in the Homebrewing forum. It's an educational place. Read back as many pages that you can and you'll learn a few things.
